Kensington Palace issued a rare update on Wednesday confirming the Princess of Wales will miss the Colonel Review on June 8, which is the traditional dress rehearsal for major event Trooping the Colour.
Hundreds of Brits will sprawl the streets of London to catch a glimpse of about 1,400 soldiers and 200 horses in the parade. Speaking to Sky News host Danica De Georgio on Friday evening, GB News presenter Emily Carver expressed concern Princess Catherine will skip the event following speculation she would be well enough amid cancer treatment.
It has not been revealed whether the Princess of Wales will attend the Trooping the Colour. Picture: Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images Buckingham Palace confirmed the 75-yeat-old monarch will be in attendance and he will likely travel there in a carriage with his wife Queen Camilla rather than horseback. She remains on an indefinite hiatus from public life while undergoing “preventative” chemotherapy treatment.
