Lagos State Government has kicked off a free medical outreach aimed at providing essential healthcare services to 25,000 residents across 24 locations in the state.

• All beneficiaries to get free drugs for one month

Ogunyemi said that following Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s directive on how to cushion the effect of the economic hardship, the Ministry of Health came up with Alafia Eko medical outreach. He added that all the beneficiaries would get free drugs for one month, reason in two weeks, they would go to the PHC closest to them to get additional drugs.

The Yobe State Pilgrims Commission says it has paid N179.8 million subsidy to 1,332 pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj exercise.A member of the Presidential Economic Coordination Council, Bismark Rewane, has raised the alarm over the skyrocketing cost of tomatoes in Nigeria. Within a year, the price of tomatoes increased from ₦40,000 to ₦150,000 per basket.
