Based on witness statements, Wactor had ended his shift at a local bar and walked to his vehicle around 3 a.m. Saturday. When he got to his car, he was confronted by three people who had the vehicle raised up with a floor jack and were trying to steal the catalytic converter,The three suspects drove away from the scene, police said. Wactor was rushed to a hospital, where he died.
LAPD is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Detectives Gonzales or Martinez in Central Bureau Homicide at 213-996-4142. Wactor portrayed Brando Corbin on the ABC soap opera from 2020 to 2022. He also appeared in a variety of films and TV series, including “Station 19,” “NCIS,” “Westworld” and the video game “Call of Duty: Vanguard.”
