They rushed the toddler to their local emergency room when her stomach grew hard, with an X-ray finding a mass in Callie’s chest, and the subsequent biopsy confirming the family’s worst fears. Callie was a lively, contented baby until December 2018, when she suddenly stopped showing any interest in food, drinks or playing games

Erin gave birth in Ohio, then flew back home to California several weeks later. She has since moved to Texas. Callie has undergone four cycles of chemotherapy, and had surgery on Monday to which removed 90 per cent of a large tumor in her abdomen.
