Photo: Rosalyn Ku/FacebookAccording to reports, Ku was admitted to the Beijing Medical University at the end of April to undergo surgery after doctors detected a malignant tumour in her rectum and sigmoid colon.
At the time, the 57-year-old was told that she would recover after the procedure and wouldn’t need chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the cancer cells had spread to other parts of her body.She shared that although she had always exercised, she had neglected several warning signs – including long-term stomach bloating and constipation.Ku admitted that it was initially very difficult for her to accept her cancer diagnosis.
