Walmart is planning to offer free health screenings to customers across the U.S. in a one-day event, the company announced Tuesday.On May 18, customers are set to be offered free health screenings for glucose, cholesterol, body mass index and blood pressure. Vision screenings are also expected to be available at some locations.
'Walmart pharmacies have hosted Wellness Days since 2014. Since then, more than 5 million free health screenings have been offered to customers, the retail chain said.The company held its first Wellness Day of the year in January, with comedian and actor Kevin Hart making a surprise appearance at a Los Angeles Walmart store.Hart has his own line of nutritional products stocked at Walmart under the brand name VitaHustle.
