The fully rehabilitated and expanded health facility which has been under construction for some years is now ready for commissioning.
Ayinke House, located within the premises of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, primarily functions as a facility to cater for mothers, children and newborns.Addressing journalists during a tour of the facility yesterday, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris described it as a promise kept by the administration under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Idris, who was represented by the Head, Project Unit of the State Ministry of Health, Dr. Abiodun Oduwole said: “The government has expended huge sum of money to ensure the project is made possible but we cannot quantify money spent to save the lives of Lagosians.”The Chief Medical Director, LASUTH, Prof.
