Megan McKenna has given a health update on Instagram on Thursday as she revealed she was rushed to hospital after suffering a serious allergic reaction.
Speaking while in a car, Megan said: 'I just want to give you an update so yesterday I was in A&E and I woke up in the morning and my tongue was double the size and my neck and throat were swollen. 'When the paramedics came they said I could have a secondary reaction because my tongue was really really swollen so they needed me to be in hospital to give me everything they needed to.
'I've been literally eating baby food, like chopped up food the last few days to try and get some nutrients. But that is the update and I'm still swollen on my neck and underneath my tongue but no where near as bad as yesterday luckily. She revealed to her almost three million followers that this was because she had been struggling with a painful absenceIt comes days after Megan apologised for her unexplained absence on social media after she didn't post to her Instagram feed in five days, where she usually posts daily.
'The care I received was amazing. Im still recovering & still abit swollen but I'm on the right medication to help it.
