a thought provoking article - since diagnosis and more so recently , I’ve found myself ordering DVDs of films and series last seen by a much younger me - I find it harder to engage with newer franchises where it’s uncertain I’ll see the denouement.

I watched my brother pass away last year at the age of 52. Before he passed, we watch episodes of GoT and wondered if he'd ever see the end. He didn't but our Eagles won the Superbowl that year.
