A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Fu laboratory in the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine for a translational research project studying the role of circadian homeostasis in tumor suppression focusing on obesity-related hepatocellular carcinoma . The candidates are expected to have training background and techniques in molecular and cellular biology, animal models, and good interpersonal skills in collaborating with clinicians and bioinformaticians.

The candidates should have basic knowledge in molecular and cellular biology, liver biology and disease models, cancer, metabolism, obesity, and mouse genetics. The experimental expertise in studying mouse models, serum and liver biomarkers, gene expression, adenoviral techniques, primary hepatocytes, RNA and protein expression, and protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions are preferred.
