Starr is a News Writer for InStyle. She has worked in pop culture and entertainment since 2017 and has been with InStyle since 2024., but is his health well enough to carry out major tasks? Reports in the media have suggested that the monarch is struggling more than the general public is led to believe, but a royal expert claims that rumors of Charles being unwell are false.
"There have been claims in some media outlets that the king is not doing well in his cancer battle. I think the announcements out of the palace and... the king's imminent return to public duties should stop such nonsense in its track, quite frankly," royal expert Katie Nicholl toldThe palace revealed that Charles is planning to "return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis.
Charles's first engagement since attending Easter church service will be a visit to a cancer treatment center next week alongside Queen Camilla. "What I think we're going to see now is the king really champion raising awareness of cancer. He's very aware of the incredible spotlight he can bring to important causes, something he has done his whole life," Nicholl added. "He's sending out a very clear message by making his first visit as he returns to public-facing duties, a visit to a cancer treatment center.
Charles is doing his best to maintain his spirits at the present time, but he has been frustrated by the past few months and is eager to work again. "My sources say that probably the most frustrating thing for the king in all of this has been that he hasn't been able to do the work that he's wanted to do," the royal expert explained. "He's very, very relieved that he's going to be able to resume that.
