Family of man who suffers from mental health issues is sounding the alarm on his disappearance

The family of Maverick Crawford last spoke with him on April 14th. Crawford is also struggles with mental health issues.SAN ANTONIO — The family of a San Antonio man who suffers from mental health issues and autism is sounding the alarm on his disappearance.

“I’m very concerned. I just want to know that he is ok,” said Vernita Wheeler, Maverick Crawford's Mother. “He is a very intelligent man, and he knows to stay in contact with his family,” said Jackie Lee, Maverick's Aunt.“He said by the time his birthday came, April 14th that he didn’t want to be here any longer,” said Vernita Wheeler.

“Call your mom, call your aunt, call your sister, me, anybody let us know that you are ok,” said Lee.
