Researchers found screen use before bedtime to be unrelated to mental health problems

Screen time has little effect on the psychological wellbeing of teenagers, regardless of whether they use devices for hours a day or just before bedtime, according to a study by researchers at Oxford University.

Groundbreaking research as per. They're unlikely to have a coronary because they're young, but they're storing up trouble if they do that for years.

I would say the issue is the content viewed during screen time rather than the amount of time itself

Adults often regard phones either as a convenient tool or as an electronic leash but kids have never known life without them and instead regard devices as a natural extension of themselves and their personal relationships

All I can say about this is that social media screen time defiantly has an effect on my wellbeing!

Yep. A lot of these anti-tech views are based on unfounded claims
