Executive agrees £14.5 billion budget, with spending on health criticised by minister as too low

Education received the second largest share at £2.87 billion, which includes £25 million towards a childcare strategy. “I recognise these allocations won’t provide sufficient funding for departments to do everything they want – that is regrettable for all Executive ministers,” she said.
