The ministry’s Director of Disease Control, Dr Eniola Erinosho, said
The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on April 7, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organisation, as well as other related organisations.According to Erinosho, the awareness will spur actions from individuals, policy-makers and healthcare workers to make universal health care a reality for everyone.
“The community sensitisation and clean up tagged: “Team Up to Clean Up“ will hold on Saturday, April 13 at Surulere Local Government, “ he said.Erinosho said that the clean up was in collaboration with the Multipro Enterprise Limited , makers of Hypo bleach, a detergent.
