If you’d like to learn more about the latest research on making lifestyle choices as you age, Institute on Aging’s Companioa is hosting a free educational talk at 11am on Wednesday April 24 at their Enrichment Center in the Presidio. It’s entitled “Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body,” presented by the Alzheimer’s Association of Northern California and Northern Nevada.
As we age, we may need to adjust exercise routines to account for physical changes, but it’s important to incorporate some level of activity in your routine as you age. Low-impact activities like walking, dancing, or chair exercises can help maintain mental and cardiovascular health, as well as improving muscle tone and flexibility.
Regardless of the specific activity, it’s important for adults, especially seniors, to remain engaged.
