The Bonzun My Pregnancy App is a virtual midwife which provides women with information about their health and potentially dangerous symptoms of pregnancy-related illnesses.

Bonnie Roupé developed pre-eclampsia when she was pregnant with her second child.

She also hopes to give power back to the women, and help them feel at ease, because some can feel shame and embarrassment if their experience isn't perfect. Whenever she wanted information she could trust, she would have to rely on medical professionals and go to the doctor's office or a hospital. According to Bonzun, statistics suggest 27,060 women in China died from ectopic pregnancies in 2014, which is 74 every day. With the right health information, people would know that the prognosis for the mother is good if the fetus is aborted, and the risk of death drops to 0.1-0.3%.
