In the era of social media, there are multiple ways of creating content that’s easily accessible for online audiences and as a result, there is also a surge in popular but unfounded nutrition and health information being spread on the internet.

From L-R UP Diliman students Dick David T. Ongking, Joecile Faith C. Monana, Althea M. Mella, Shara Cindy N. Xu and Jose Rafael R. Palomares were hailed champions. Joining them are Ms. Kristia Lei Reyes, Board of Academe , Ms. Eloisa Villaraza, President of NDAP , Ms. Ivy Sicat, Nutrition Advocacy Manager, Nestlé Philippines and Ms. Elizabeth Prudenciado, Board of Academe

Open to Nutrition and Dietetics students across the country, the competition requires participants to create a 2-minute animated video that can effectively convey accurate information about topics on health and nutrition science in a concise yet fresh and creative way. After gathering and evaluating entries, the top four teams were named in a culminating event during the NDAP 69th Annual Convention last February 22, 2024 at Century Park Hotel, Manila.
