A top aide to Nancy Pelosi tried to undercut Medicare for All

A top aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used a private meeting to encourage health policy groups to raise public concerns aboutMedicare for All“ just weeks after Democrats recaptured the House majority, multiple people familiar with the session told POLITICO.

Some of those six sources interpreted it as a request for data and economic analysis, but others saw it as a harder-edged invitation to discredit the idea, or at least amplify its risks. “Wendell absolutely did not ask for any kind of one-sided analysis of Medicare for All, and anyone who says otherwise wasn’t actually listening,” he said. “As Democrats, across the entire spectrum, we believe in legislating based on facts, data and honest analysis.”over the Medicare for All campaign, which would eliminate private insurance in favor of guaranteed government-funded coverage.

Dear SpeakerPelosi ... is he still your aid? We want Medicare for all. Show us that you are all working toward that. You saw today... GOP+Trump are taking away your strong point of health for all! They are STEALING your BEST campaign promise. Wake up! Better not fail us!

I prefer Medicare-For-Uninsured instead of Medicare-For-All, so want this debate to happen. The insurance industry needs better regulation (💜ACA); it doesn’t need to be completely destroyed. Seriously expanded Medicare to cover all without coverage will easily have the votes!

Another wolf in sheeps clothing!

So, the will of the people is an 'unhelpful distraction'? From what? And don't give me that 'who's going to pay for it' bullshit. If we can afford to pay for endless war, then we can afford to pay for policies that would actually benefit us.

This is misleading
