Prior to becoming a therapist, Reuben was a professional writer. He cut his teeth in New Orleans, where he worked as a staff writer for the mayor until Hurricane Katrina. In 2012, he became the founding editor of the Los Angeles edition ofAround 2019, Reuben grew interested in the connections between mental health and the environment.
