The DWP is handing out a boost to people on Personal Independence Payments from Monday, April 8 which will see hundreds more per year being put into benefits claimants' bank accounts.
As well as state pension and Universal Credit, PIP payments and carers' benefits will be increased by 6.7% each, making a total of £930.20 across all four payment types for PIP.The DWP has confirmed in writing that the benefits payment changes begin from Monday, April 8.
