Roman Kemp has never shied away from speaking about his mental health. The former Capital FM presenter, 31, has talked candidly about his suicidal thoughts, being on anti-depressants and also the death of his dear friend, Joe Lyons, who took his own life in 2020, also aged 31.
He said: "My mum saved my life. She made me open up so much as a kid and made me talk to her and literally forced me to tell her how I was feeling. He further stressed: "Talking about mental health needs to start earlier than when we get to 16 and we're doing PSHE . It has to be engrained into lessons and it has to be engrained into schools... as early as possible. Understanding that talking is something that can help us."
Sleep apnoea Roman previously toyed with the idea of quitting the radio show after finding out he had sleep apnoea in 2022. Romantic life Roman has previously been linked to well-known faces such as Maura Higgins and Lottie Moss.
