Arsenal have confirmed that Frida Maanum is "talking and stable" after she collapsed during this afternoon's Conti Cup final.

Arsenal later confirmed that the midfielder was conscious via their official club channel, the Mirror reports.The Gunners posted on social media: "Frida is conscious, talking and in a stable condition. She will continue to be monitored closely by our medical team. We're all with you, Frida."
Former England defender Fern Whelan lambasted the decision to restart the match so swiftly after the incident. She said on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra: “We need to realise that the players are human beings and just to get this small mental break more than anything after what has just happened is important.
