WASHINGTON—President Trump continued to reach out to Republican lawmakers Thursday to take the lead on crafting a health plan to replace the Affordable Care Act, working to hand off the politically sensitive effort ahead of the 2020 elections.
Senate Republicans, meanwhile, want the administration to take the lead on developing a plan while they remain on politically safer ground, working on popular voter issues such as lowering drug prices and ending surprise medical bills.
The GOP will not come up with a plan that covers all of those now covered by the ACA, covers pre-exisitng conditions, and children up to age 26, a sine qua non for what the American people want. That would be the ACA. Good luck fellas.
And here I was believing him that he has a plan for HC, a beautiful and much better one than tha ACA ... when in fact, he is just passing the buck, not having a clue.

Basic medical science only healthcare - people who want to use healthcare for lawsuit abuse can elect to pay more.
Why not make a catastrophic health insurance program, basic coverage. People who want suicidal breast implants, video game therapy or live in a $1000 a day chemical dependency for winter months can elect to pay more for health insurance.
