Queen Camilla made history by attending the Royal Maundy service solo this morning, on behalf of King Charles III, while the monarch continues his cancer treatment.The queen consort arrived at Worcester Cathedral for the church service looking elegant in a cozy white coatdress, brown fur hat, beige suede boots, and black leather gloves. She accessorized with large diamond earrings and two gold brooches in the shape of blooming flowers, with sapphires at the middle.
And, as we have just heard, in doing so he deliberately gave to them and to us all an example of how we should serve and care for each other. In this country we are blessed by all the different services that exist for our welfare. But over and above these organizations and their selfless staff, we need and benefit greatly from those who extend the hand of friendship to us, especially in a time of need.
