An Ohio county has the ambitious goal of eliminating traffic deaths in the next couple of decades, creating the plan this year that would put the wheels in motion.

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio -

The Lorain County Comprehensive Safety Action Plan will pinpoint areas of high probability across the county, using every tool possible, from legislation to infrastructure, to change things with the goal of making roads safer. She adds the Lorain County Public Health Department is putting the plan together by working with several departments across the county, finding out what they have in the budget already set aside to improve safety, before going to the Federal Government for the rest of the funds.
