Drinking a bottle of wine increases women’s cancer risk as much as smoking 10 cigarettes, research suggests.

I get so fed up with these so called sanctimonious experts. I like a glass of wine most evenings and it makes me feel cheerful. What a miserable prospect to have to do without it.

...won’t make you psychotic like cannabis. As in most things, moderation is the key, and to my mind a bottle a week is the epitome of discretion. So go ahead ladies; you deserve to spoil yourselves with a glass of Chardonnay with friends.

Pfff...A bottle of wine a week is not going to make you an obnoxious drunk, or an alcoholic or (and don’t quote me on this) wind up with serosis of the liver. It may give you cancer later on, but it’s a helluva lot more enjoyable than cigarettes and...

Give it a month, and there will be a report refuting this. Can we have some proper science reporting, please?
