The national health protection scheme is currently open to those between 18 and 55.

Petaling Jaya MP Maria Chin Abdullah says many people suffer from diseases such as Alzheimer’s after 55 years of age.

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said although eligibility in the private sector is for people in this age bracket, Putrajaya would consider the proposal as mySalam is a government initiative.
