LianeHilton we already had 'free market' - that's when millions of americans had no affordable health care. That 'free market' kept everybody sick and without coverage

I think it’s more appropriate to say that the White House wants to replace the ACA.

Let the US unify Korea

A public option for Medicare would certainly force the private insurance companies to compete. It's the strategy the most staunchly oppose because it would be so difficult to successfully compete with

Support your president or resign.

if they have the balls, they can free-market Medicare lmao

We need to abolish the ACA and we need to encourage the free market

Free market solutions always and only benefit big business. Why is that?

Free-market Healthcare system. What a great idea. I wonder why no other developed country in the world does that? Oh right because it doesn't work.

There are no free market solutions. Healthcare is a market failure -- nonexistent pricing information plus a disincentive to choose the low cost provider because of quality concerns. If you are having brain surgery, do you really want the surgeon operating at a steep discount?

You make sound as if these two things are diametrically opposed to each other.

Trumps always right don’t discount him.

Medicare For All is the solution as I’ve shared here on Twitter. Problem is that AOC KamalaHarris BernieSanders CoryBooker realDonaldTrump not anyone else in DC can make money from it so they don’t want it. My plan works!

Kill it. Yes!

Rs... Please Keep your trailers hitched to the Trump Dumpster Fire! You'll do great in 2020!?!

When stupid people who know nothing about health care get involved trying to control insurance companies it doesn't end well

You have to kill the ACA to ALLOW free market solutions...isn’t that obvious

“Free-market” just means letting poor people die so the rest don’t have to pay for their care. That’s how they cut costs, by letting people die.

the free market gave us about 10-15 years of increases in insurance premium rates ranging from 9% to 21% per year ... every other advanced country in the world can do this right, we're the dumb one.

I mean, the “free” market? Really? Still?

The Republican Party has no good answer to the healthcare crisis. Between the horrifying and suddenly real effects of climate change, tariffs, and any repeal of the ACA, “flyover territory” may suddenly understand that the Democrats were always on their side.

Lol, they will lose again.

This debate should trouble Republicans so much. Why in the world would Trump bring this up again and push for the end of the ACA now? It’s literally why the Dems won the House in 2018z
