Kate Middleton and Prince William are “moved” by the public's response to the Princess of Wales' cancer diagnosis. On March 23, a Kensington Palace spokesperson passed on the royal couple's gratitude for the “kind messages” the Wales family has received following Kate's recent medical revelation.
“The surgery was successful; however, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment.” The Princess of Wales explained that she'd been taking time to process the news and explain her diagnosis to her children before speaking to the public.
