Oyo State governor-elect, Mr. Seyi Makinde, has said that though he respects his outgoing predecessor, Abiola Ajimobi, he is concerned about the financial implications of alleged contracts being awarded.
The incoming governor expressed doubts that the alleged projects would ever take off before May 29 when he will be sworn in. In a statement issued on his behalf by Mr. Dotun Oyelade, Makinde said he accords Ajimobi due respect, not only as governor, but also as his senior.
