Kate Garraway has issued a personal message to the Princess of Wales following her cancer diagnosis. The Good Morning Britain presenter took to social media to wish Kate, 42, well after she publicly announced she is due to begin undergoing chemotherapy after finding out she has an undisclosed type of cancer.
"So brave of Catherine HRH Princess of Wales to share the tough heartbreaking news of what she has been going through and how she has been trying to reassure her children and keep a sense of safety around them when all their world has been rocked," Kate penned. The Princess of Wales shared the news of her diagnosis on 22 March in a pre-recorded video message. The clip was shared on BBC's Six O'Clock News. The mum-of-three had remained out of the spotlight after undergoing "planned abdominal surgery" in January.
She continued: "This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.
