Princess Kate's mum Carole's invaluable advice for 'emotionally demanding' times

Kate Middleton has this week shared that she has been diagnosed with cancer, and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy to treat her condition.

Her advice stands, as she told Sheer Luxe magazine that the most important thing for parents is "accepting help when it's offered" and "surrounding yourself with a good team that you trust."Her parents are known to take care of their grandchildren, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, and love spending time with them - luckily they live just a short drive away from each other.

Speaking in the video message recorded on Wednesday in Windsor, the princess said: “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous."
