Kate Middleton Getting Treatment For Cancer

She says abdominal surgery she had in a London hospital in January was successful at the time - and her condition was believed to be non-cancerous.For weeks there have been theories about her condition as she hasn't had a public engagement since Christmas."I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery.

"In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous."My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.
