Catherine, The Princess of Wales has told the world she has cancer following major abdominal surgery. Kate Middleton has confirmed she has cancer in a video released by the palace on Friday evening.
The Princess of Wales herself told the public about her private battle she is currently facing as she addressed concerns regarding her health amid weeks of speculation. She underwent major surgery where post-op tests confirmed she had cancer. Kate said she was in the process of telling her three young children as she gets stronger each day. In the video message she thanked people for wishing her well.She says Prince William was being "a great source of comfort and reassurance" as the couple try and explain the situation to their three children George, Charlotte and Louis.
Kate said: "As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. "But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok."
