Sugary Drinks,Fruit Juice,Type 2 Diabetes

Boys who drink lots of sugary soda and fruit juice could be more likely to develop type 2 diabetes in children. Researchers tracked the health of almost 500 Massachusetts children and found that boys who consumed at least one sugary drink every day had higher blood sugar levels in adolescence. Girls did not have the same risk. These findings support the current dietary recommendations to limit or eliminate sugary beverages and consume whole fruits instead.
