He says he did not find any injuries during his post-mortem to suggest the fireman was pulled out from his medical van.

SHAH ALAM: The forensic doctor who conducted a post-mortem on Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim told the inquest into the fireman’s death that he believes Adib had stepped out from the medical van during the Seafield temple riot last year.

Lawyer Syazlin Mansor, representing the local and housing ministry, asked the doctor about the injury that caused it. It had earlier been speculated that a mob outside the temple, caught in a relocation dispute, had pulled out Adib from the van and beaten him. To that, Hafizam said, “if he was pulled out, the cloth will be torn and there will be scar marks on his neck but in this case, there are no such marks”.
