The metro said its technicians have completed the installation of a pump at the Bronkhorstspruit Water Treatment Plant.

JOHANNESBURG - Tshwane residents are being urged to be patient while water systems recover following a prolonged outage.Bronkhorstspruit residents pelt local police station with stones during water shortage protestCity spokesperson Selby Bokaba said water tankers would still be sent to affected areas.

"The plant began pumping at full capacity, which is a sign of good news for the residents of Bronkhorstspruit and surrounding areas, who had endured weeks of water outages due to a breakdown of a pump at the plant."
