Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has revealed there is 'no evidence of disease' as she shared a delightful health update following her cancer treatment. The 33 year old pro dancer was rushed to hospital last week, where she received care in the respiratory unit.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, she went through a mastectomy, followed by news of secondary cancer. Throughout her journey, she kept her fans updated via social media sharing details of her chemotherapy side effects and personal plans. Amy continued: "I have so much to strive and live for, and so grateful for another chance at life! Something I know not all get. I certainly see life differently and my life has changed forever! Cancer affects too many so I will continue to do all I can to raise awareness and make sure I get as many as I can to #checkthemselves.
Last week, Amy revealed she was taken to the hospital and posted a snap of herself in a hospital gown. The star dancer previously shared the moment she found a lump in her breast ahead of her honeymoon. "I was in the shower and I felt this hard lump in my right breast. I was in shock; I checked again," she revealed in an interview with HELLO!. While on her trip, she noticed the lump grew bigger and visited her doctor immediately before getting an urgent referral.
