Disposable vapes will be banned in the UK, and new powers to restrict vape flavours and introduce plain packaging will also come into force, the prime minister Rishi Sunak announced today (29 January). The crackdown aims to tackle a rise in youth vaping and protect children’s health. Recent figures show the number of children using vapes has tripled in the past three years with Rishi Sunak saying, 'we must act before it becomes endemic'.
