Health Insurance scheme for entertainers: UK-based JOM Charity join forces with Mabel Oboh’s NGO vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

Oboh made this assertion during the week, at a joint press conference, in Lagos, to officially announce her NGO’s partnership with the UK-based JOM Charity to facilitate its newly launched Health Insurance Scheme for entertainers.She had promised last December to roll out an insurance scheme for entertainers billed to kick off earlier this year.

Founder of JOM Charity, Chief Josephine Oboh-Macleod, who flew in from London said her organization decided to identify with this laudable project because she believes that this genuine health insurance scheme is very good for artists, entertainers and their affiliates. “It is one of the insurance schemes you do not have to be a member of an association to join,” she added.

JOM Charity, according to her, intends to register and sponsor some grass root musicians and artistes, masquerade acrobatic dancers. “We want to preserve these artists so that they have more years to entertain and pass on their knowledge to the youth.” “Not to mention renowned entertainers like Sam loco, Enebeli elebuwa. We believe that MOCSOS affordable health insurance scheme will improve entertainers overall well-being and give them rest of mind. Jom charity intends to promote resetting the mind sets of entertainers to make the wise decision that can give them good health, peace of mind and particularly save their lives by registering with MOCSOS.
