Raising awareness about early lung cancer screening

In conjunction with Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Sunway University’s School of Medical and Life Sciences is partnering with Lung Cancer Network Malaysia, Sunway Biological Society, Sunway Future Nurses Club, and Sunway Sports Council to organise the inaugural Ready, Set, Breathe! Lung Cancer Awareness Charity Run on Nov 11.

These findings highlight the urgency of promoting awareness of screening for individuals at risk of lung cancer and the importance of early detection, as early-stage lung cancer has a good prognosis and can often be cured with surgery as part of multi-modal therapy. Those who take part in mini games stand a chance of winning exciting prizes from one of its main sponsors, Alba Malaysia.
