Fans of Strictly Come Dancing expressed their frustration on social media about the music choice in the show's Halloween special. Viewers suggested alternative songs that would have been more fitting for the spooky theme. This comes after contestant Amanda Abbington quit the show due to medical reasons.

Strictly come Dancing fans were quick to comment on an "annoying" part of the show just moments into the show's 'Fright Night' Halloween special tonight.

One wrote: "who picked the music seriously, it's Halloween what about "I put a spell on you" from Hocus Pocus. make it fun "jeepers creepers" #StrictlyComeDancing". There have been rumours of an alleged feud going on between her and professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice, which were further speculated by an apparent 'snub' on Amanda's part when she released a statement to confirm she would not be continuing with the show.

"It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside.
