Two men were found with gunshot wounds in Niles Oct. 20, per police, and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Niles police responded to a call of shots fired Oct. 20 and found a 33-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy with gunshot wounds, they said in a news release. Police were alerted to the call of shots fired in the area of Lyons and Woodland and said they determined the shots took place at a residence in the 9200 block of Woodland.

The 33-year-old man was discovered with torso wounds, and the 15-year-old male was found to have an upper extremity wound, police said. Both were taken to the hospital. The incident occurred at about 10:33 a.m. Police said they are still investigating but believe there are no further suspects at large. They encouraged anyone with information to call the Investigations Division at 847-588-6570.
