92 kindergartens and nurseries in Pasir Gudang also ordered to close.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad visiting victims of the chemical pollution at the Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor Bahru this evening.

Of the remainder, 1,483 individuals were placed at a medical base in Taman Pasir Putih, with 224 transferred to hospital, Johor Health, Environment and Agriculture Committee chairman Dr Sahruddin Jamal said. A total of 869 victims received treatment at hospitals and clinics in Pasir Gudang and Johor Bahru who were not originally referred there from a medic base.He also said a total of 92 kindergartens and nurseries in the affected areas have been ordered to be closed, just like the 111 schools in Pasir Gudang, from last night.
