Utah leaders cut the ribbon on a new health center on Salt Lake City's west side.It was operated by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services but is now transitioned to University of Utah Health.

Officials say the new center will help nearly 2,000 existing patients as well as provide health services for refugees. “This is an amazing facility,” Gov. Spencer Cox told KUTV 2News, “ incredible opportunity for us to come together – the University of Utah and the state of Utah – working hand in hand to provide much-needed services in a place where fewer people can afford them and fewer people have access to them.”
