The earlier in life financial independence is reached, the more hurdles one could face in order to maintain financial freedom.

I think if we all just cared for environment a bit more and grew our own food and became a bit more like vagabond travelers with no strings attached , I did say there would be true world peace with no attachment to destructive tech and ailments.

My wife & I retired early, then I got sick with a disease that requires infusion treatments for the rest of my life. That means an individual health insurance policy = very expensive (we pay $2,500/mo) until we reach Medicare. Word to the wise - consider the possibility of this.
