LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County feline ended up spending Wednesday afternoon in the sky, after becoming stranded at the top of a telephone pole at Fifth and Walnut Streets in Columbia Borough.expressing concern over the cat's daredevil stunt at around 12:33 p.m.

Crews with PPL ultimately had to shut the utility lines off to ensure a safe rescue, which resulted in a ten-minute outage for about 200 customers. Once the cat capture was completed, the Columbia Animal Shelter agreed to provide care until the owner was identified. Anyone with information regarding the incident, or missing a gray and white male feline, is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 717-684-7735.
