In observance of the 2023 World Mental Health Day, Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, has urged the nation to prioritise mental wellbeing and offer support to those grappling with emotional and psychological burdens.Against the backdrop of contemporary challenges, particularly the pressures emanating from social media and society at large, Mrs Tinubu emphasised the paramount importance of recognising and addressing mental health issues.

The First Lady underscored the critical role of candid conversations, particularly with the youth, to enhance mental health, foster emotional management, and cultivate healthier relationships.In a unifying call, the First Lady urged traditional rulers, religious leaders, NGOs, and all Nigerians to collaborate with the government in supporting those in need.
