As the economy worsens, people qualified and experienced people leave. The number of competent people left have to cope with the same amount of cases. When you under pressure you make mistakes, human nature. A sad state of affairs created by a govt lacking care and empathy.

When goverment lowers the standard of education and pass mark requirements you end up with poorly educated people who are not qualified to do the work, then malpractice happens.

What are the reasons for the increasing number of cases of medical negligence? Are professionals overworked, are they exhausted? It can't be lack of experience is it? Not lack of qualifications, I doubt it
